  • Under the latest guidelines, the No Cost EMI payment option is accessible on Amazon.in when using an eligible debit card from banks such as HDFC, ICICI, Axis, Kotak, SBI, and Federal Bank, and is not available when using net banking or cash on delivery payment options. 
  • The No Cost EMI payment option is accessible on Amazon.in when using a debit card from any bank (that offers an EMI facility to its debit card holders) and is not available when using net banking or cash on delivery payment options.
  • Customers who use the No Cost EMI payment option will pay the amount that is the total of the price of the product during the EMI tenure as displayed on Amazon.in (at the time of making the purchase transactions). The participating sellers or brands (as the case may be) will contribute amounts equal to the interest charged by banks in order to complete the purchase transactions on EMI. however, the 18% GST on the interest component and any bank processing fees are not waived and must be paid by the customer.
  • At the time of purchase, the customer’s bank may either place a hold on the full transaction amount on the debit card or require the account to maintain a minimum balance equal to the first EMI, depending on the bank’s internal policies.
